As part of his speaking tour on Healthcare Is a Human Right Campaign, Jonathan Kissam will discuss the movement toward and passing of H. 202 on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 1:00-3:30pm at the Hemophilia Foundation, 210 S. Des Plaines, in Chicago.

Kissam, head of the Vermont Workers Center, is a leader in the movement to get H. 202 passed in Vermont

Kissam will discuss Vermont’s recently-enacted universal healthcare law. His presentation will also focus on how Healthcare Is a Human Right Campaign, a grassroots movement of thousands of Vermonters, made that legislation possible.

Kissam will be available for questions following his presentation.
