Illinois State Senator Rickey Hendon said Tuesday he will run for Mayor of Chicago.

Hendon, the Assistant Majority Leader in the Illinois State Senate for the last ten years, announced his plans to run in an exclusive interview with Juanita Bratcher, Editor and Publisher of CopyLine Magazine, when discussing his new book, “Backstabbers: The Reality of Politics.” He is also author of the book, “Black Enough White Enough: The Obama Dilemma.”
